For Metrix

Flat Job CSV Creator.zip
This zip file contains a FileMaker Pro Utility to add Flat Jobs to Metrix. It simplifies the process of adding large numbers of Flat Jobs to Metrix. It is free to use as-is. Just open the file as Guest with no password.

For Preps

JDF Bars.zip
This file contains a number of color bars for use with Preps and a Rampage workflow. The color bars should be placed into the Preps>Marks>Dupe Marks folder. The color bars are setup in both .eps and .pdf format so that they can be used for a conventional or PDF/JDF workflow. The internal colors in the marks are also setup in such a way that you don't have to manually remap spot colors. The naming is simple... a mark named CMYK12... is a CMYK + 2 spot color mark. The tint or solid designation is for solid 1/4 inch blocks or blocks with tints of 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 for each color. These colorbars use Rampages rsi_coloralias_## callouts to save you the trouble of remapping.

For Any Imposition Program

These are the current versions of Shingler:
Shingler V3.0 PC.zip For PC
Shingler V3.0 Mac.zip For the Mac

These are the older versions in case you still need them:
Shingler V1 PC.zip For PC
Shingler V2 Mac.zip For the Mac

This is a utility for determining how much to shingle or creep your job. It was originally written in VB.net for the PC and with RealBasic for the Mac. With the coming of Mac OS X Lion I recently released version 3 which was written in Java. The Mac version has been setup to run like a standard app. The PC version is currently just a jar file until I can come up with an easy way to turn it into a standard app. To use it... just double click the jar. file. The values used for each paper were obtained from www.paper-paper.com/weight.html. If anyone is using Metrix... you will find that the numbers they use are almost identical. The utility uses the calculation that follows: ((Pages/ 4)-1)*thickness. The reason for the -1 in the middle of the calculation is because you don't need to shingle one of the spreads as it is the basis for all of the others. This is the same calculation used by Metrix.
Both of the current versions allow you to add your own paper stocks to the utility, so you don't need to keep reentering values. They can also display the shingle value for each spread.
Currently, Both PC & Mac software are version 3.0. The PC version skipped V2 and V3.0 has the same functionality for both the Mac and PC versions.
